Verna Tipton, Principal
Verna Tipton is from Corpus Christi, Texas. She received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Kinesiology with a minor in Health from Texas A & M University - Kingsville. For several years, she taught and coached at the middle school level. In 2001, she received her Masters of Science Degree in Counseling from Texas A & M University - Corpus Christi, and went on to serve as a counselor at Gregory-Portland Jr. High in Portland, Texas. In 2004, Mrs. Tipton received a Masters of Science Degree in Educational Administration from Texas A & M Corpus Christi.
I enjoy being part of Pearland ISD, which has a tradition of excellence in education and is dedicated to preparing students to be confident, life-long learners, and productive citizens. We believe students are eager to learn, and with the support of their family, teachers, and community, all students can realize their potential, use their talents and abilities to contribute to their community, to our nation and to the world.
