Parents of students identified as Gifted and Talented (GT) in Pearland ISD who are interested in attending the GT Academy at Sablatura Middle School (grades 5–6) or Pearland Junior High West (grades 7–8) must submit a GT Academy Interest Form. The GT Academy Interest Form will be available through Skyward January 1 – January 31.

·       Incoming 5th Graders: Admission will be determined through a lottery system, with 150 available seats.

·       Incoming 6th and 7th Graders: Enrollment is based on space availability within the 150-student cohort.

·       Incoming 8th Graders: May enroll without seat limitations.

Students who submit an interest form but are not initially accepted will be placed on a waitlist. If openings arise, students will be selected from the waitlist to fill available spots.

To be eligible for enrollment in the 2026–2027 GT Academy, students must:

·       Be currently enrolled in Pearland ISD;

·       Be identified GT in Pearland ISD;

·       Reside within the Pearland ISD attendance zone; and

·       Submit an interest form by February 1, 2026.
